We are a charity formed in 2006 whose objectives are to find permanent caring homes for unwanted pets in Ceredigion and to educate the public regarding the care and responsibility of pet ownership. We take in and re-home dogs, cats and small pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs.

Wherever possible we use foster homes to provide short term care and to carry out an assessment of rescued animals in a home environment.

No animals are re-homed without a thorough home check being undertaken. We are also working to establish a network of contacts with other similar minded rescue charities within the United Kingdom and where appropriate work with breed rescues to find the best possible homes.

Both conventional and complimentary treatment is used when needed, including a hydrotherapy unit, according to advice and consultation with local veterinary practices.

All our animals are neutered or spayed unless advised otherwise by our Vets.

Would you like to be considered as a foster carer for the animals - if so we would love to hear from you but please understand that this is quite a commitment. You can read about being a fosterer here.

We also need home checkers to ensure that the animals are going to a safe and caring home. If you can spare a few hours occasionally on a volunteer basis to talk to potential new owners, assess their ability to look after the animal that they wish to adopt and offer advice where needed, then please contact us.

Fund-raising help is always welcome, perhaps you would like a collecting tin at work or in your shop, if so we will only be to happy to supply one to you.
