Rehomed Dogs                                       Main Menu                                      Private Rehomings

All the dogs get on well with adults.  Look at the tick boxes to see which one is best suited to your life style.  No means definitely no. No with something in brackets ie (bouncy) means the dog may knock a smaller child over, or in the case of young dogs may not have learned to not nip.  If the family is used to dogs this does not mean no children, if not used to dogs then best to say no.

If you can offer any of these dogs a loving, permanent home please contact us on 0845 463 0623 or email ceredigionanimalrescuerehoming@gmx.co.uk

All our dogs are neutered (unless otherwise stated), vaccinated and wormed.  We are based in West Wales but re-home all over the UK and will always carry out a home check.  We suggest a donation of £120 for each dog, please bear in mind this covers the cost of feeding, boarding, neutering, vaccinating and any other veterinary treatment not just for that dog but also for any long stay dogs we care for.  (please see this breakdown of costs!!!)

bobBob is a 2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier.  Bob has been castrated, dewormed and fully innoculated at rescue. He has lived with other dogs here as well as cats but is not keen on jack russels when out walking. Bob needs a lengthy walk each day. He is a very handsome boy in great shape.
Homecheck, contract and donation to cover vet costs involved.

ben
Ben is a chocolate brown boy - going a bit grey at the edges!

Ben urgently needs a foster or a forever home ! He is 12 years old and really shouldn't be in kennels. He needs a warm comfy bed.

He is not good with children, cats or small furries.

Ben doesn't like to be fussed, but does enjoy a couple of walks a day and then doing his own thing

Ben is with Prodogsdirect  Email: info@prodogsdirect.org.uk

Sadly Rescue Centres across the UK are full of Staffies (Staffordshire Bull Terriers) and their crosses, and hundreds of dogs are being killed every day due to the overcrowding situation.  They are among the most loyal and loving dogs, but due to the way certain elements of society took them on as status symbols and encouraged them to be aggressive the behaviour of just a few has affected the lives of thousands.  The press fans hatred for the breed - all I can say is that my first Staffie cross ended up in the vet's with puncture wounds to her neck after an unprovoked attack by a Golden Retriever - yet if the press had reported the incident no doubt the headline would have been "Staffie in Attack" - she did not even retaliate.  My current Staffie cross is a temperament assessed Pets As Therapy visiting dog.
