We now have the help of a local dog behaviourist, Louise, who gives advice and assistance with our dogs with behavioural problems and with assessment of dogs in our care. With Louise's help we hope to work with some owners to enable them to keep their dog rather than give it up for re-homing. In November last year the Welsh Assembly brought into force Codes of Practice for the Welfare of Cats, Dogs and Equines. The full Codes of Practice take a bit of digesting but summary versions for the Codes for cats and dogs has also been produced. You can view these on-line by clicking here: The accounts to 31st March 2009 can be viewed here If you would like
